That's strange my bro says I have big hands lol.

Is the controller heavy or is it the D pad? I use the standard controller myself with a lot of fighting games.

Because I'm solely on the PS3, the standard Xbox controller did feel heavy but it wasnt as unbearable as the dpad. The dpad felt stiff to control so that may be the issue. I tried to do 66pp with momiji which I did about 50% of the time (other 50% was 6pp). I failed every time with 6pkkp lol.

I had an issue with both the dpad and the attack buttons. I bought the hori gem pad 360 which has a dpad similar to the ps3, but had the same issues as the standard controller. I think the Xbox just doesn't get along with me lol.

Transitioning is difficult, D pad is on different locations for starters. Did you go in cold? Like no prior warm up

No warmup at all. The tourney began an hour and a bit later than expected so I just had to wait around :\. The whole tourney felt rushed.

Just buy a converter man. You will have a better experience then. I dont touch any Xbox 360 controllers for fighting games. Here at locals I use a PS1 controller on Xbox 360 thanks to my godlike converter xD

Yep I remembered you told me to get one and I looked. Unfortunately it wasn't in stock at the time and when it was it wouldn't have got to me in time for today XD (American online store=longer shipping time). So I resorted to buying a 3rd party controller (UK online=quicker for me), which in its defence does have a better dpad albeit the delayed inputs and other mess I went through XD.

I remember one I posted but wad from a china retailer actually. The black one I showed you. Next timr you plan to buy get that next time lol.

Hmm a hitbox...*googles* looks kinda funny hehe but I think that might actually work for DOA. It seems like a joystick but the stick is replaced by directional buttons. Hmm this seems interesting lol. Have you tried one before? Is it easy to play with?

If you're good at typing a hit box sound good. I've seen some crazy inputs on that.

HItbox is godlike on any fighting game. Though this is from DoA5 you should get the understanding how it would work in DoA5U just no rapid step lol.

I myself do not use hitbox but I plan on getting one but one of my friends has one and it may seem hard at first but once you get use to it works becomes second nature to you. I prefer this over an arcade stick cause I don't like using my wrists lol.

@Dr Snipe I find typing can be fun at times. So a hitbox is like a minigame of typing and DOA together XD.

Your friend is lucky, this seems fun to play with haha. I tried an arcade stick in well, the arcades lol and the joystick was a nightmare >_<. If you don't like using your wrists I can see how you'd want to rest your wrists on the hitbox lol . My wrists tire easily lol.

Yeah I dont like using my wrists so no arcade stick for me. Hitbox all fingers just how I like it lol. Using wrists is a nightmare.
