I feel like it's also there to give bigger characters some kind of advantage to being slower than the rest of the cast. For instance, Bass- slower than Kasumi, takes less damage than a lighter character. So it kinda weighs up... does that make sense? not 100% sure if it's true- it's just kind of what I assumed.

He was talking about encumbrance in RPGs and the like. Not weight classes in fighting games.

In Skyrim I never even reach 150. You probably have way too much random shit, haha.

For balancing reasons, it's a lot more than just that but explaining it all would take sometime. Think of it this way, having no weight would mean you could carry thousands of potions never be able to die or run out of magicka as you will just spam potions.

Skyrim is a single player game fuck balance , you should be able to play as OP as you want. Also I can garuntee you it's not the potions weighing him down. he probably got a hold of some dragon bones which are VERY valuable and VERY heavy

That weight limit crap just stopped all the fun for me when I had to stop all I was doing and either dump it or sell it. I remember wanting to slap some dark souls player when he suggested DS to have that. seriously one of the worst game mechanics ever

DS doesn't have it because it opts to use weight limitation on equipment you wear but it serves the same purpose, it's Just a different form of balancing, if you want to adjust the game of your on volition you can do so with mods.

Lol potions and dragon bones are both a factor in my encumberance, but I -always- have the potions. Potions weigh 0.5 each and I have... just under 350 of them XD
