true. I don't think anything should be guaranteed from that I mean she's already pulling you out of your guard.. it's like free damage basically

i think its just something that gives advantage and throws your opponent off guard....goddammit

Nothing is guaranteed. Every followup can be blocked. She can free cancel out of it for a fairly large advantage, though. +11, I think.

Also, her 2P after the throw doesn't stun for very long; if you SE at a decent speed she won't have any followups that won't land on block. Her P+K (mid punch) option from it is a GB that gives her +2, though.

Allow me to clarify. My two Kokoro cohorts above me are correct in that nothing is guaranteed from the heichu grab. However, you can NOT block any of the three follow ups. You WILL eat a healthy stun if you just hold block. Your only option is to guess a hold.

The 2P follow up, even on fastest SE, is still +14... and no one is gonna react to SE at the absolute fastest, so essentially it'll be mid to upper teens. Kokoro has plenty of options that are in the mid teens, including moves that lead into a launcher. So even by doing a fast SE, you'll still eat a follow up leading to extended stuns and/or a launcher.

Translation:

Heichu grab follow ups = must guess a hold

Once hit by follow up = must guess a hold

Exception: The Kokoro player doesn't know their frames

so it's her heichu grab? that might be the one. because I will hold block & still get hit anyways.

I don't have a problem fighting her unless they keep doing it... there's not much you can really do against that tbh

@the_space_cadet My mistake. The followups can only be blocked if delayed. I had also thought that 2P pushed them too far away for 6P to connect.

Calling it free damage is still not quite right, in my opinion, because if the Kokoro player's called out on it, they eat HiC damage.

it's risky either way honestly. if I try to grab and it works that's great for me.. but if I don't then I get put on counter throw I believe? or worse. and if I don't do anything I get hit anyways...
