No it is not. A crush is Any attack that can beat out another attack by either going under an attack or jumping over an attack. Crushing does not involve out speeding other attacks; it actually can beat out faster attacks if the crush goes around the faster attack. There are 3 types. High crush, mid crush, and low crush.

Jann Lee's high crushes: 2p, 2h+k, 3p+k,

Mid crushes: bt 2k

low crushes: h+k, 9k, 8h+k, and 214p(sometimes)

High crushes mean it beats out any high attack your opponent throws out. Low crushes mean it beats out any low your opponent throws out. Same wigh mid crushes but there aren't much mid crushes in game.
