Be careful with 6h+k as it unsafe on block. This is more as a whiff punisher or to use after DG.
A lot of Jann Lee's like to use dragon kick but if you use it do it when they near a wall. If not they have the advantage to get right near you. It also a move that can be punished severely when it whiffs.
Yeah, I do know I throw out dragon kick at times that aren't exactly optimal, sometimes for funzies and sometimes cos I had a habit of punishing ppl for running at me lol. These are extremely helpful tips that I will work on in my practice, thanks! Also why do you not have an xbox copy yet??
If you want to punish people who love to run up to you I recommend 66k, p+k, and 236p, oh and 7k too. You should also get more comfortable with using k4k and 3k4k as they are great for keep out.
And also no problem. And well trying to find a cheap copy of the game to buy. Right now I still find them around $40 but I'll try to see if I can get it off ebay cheap.
I don't know why I didn't in that particular fight but I usually do use k4k and 3k4k pretty often. Outside of those though, my biggest problem is probably getting in close.
Well you were playing against Ayane after all so you might have thought it was risky to do that. I know I don't use K4k against Ayane cause she can evade a lot of highs.
Yeah Jann Lee you have to get in the old fashioned way. He doesn't really have any moves that allow him to get in. Ryujin always told me that the running version of 236p decent for that but still not that great since it is a high.
yeah most will either hold high or do mid punch hold but if you think they are going to do that run up to them and if they whiff hold then punish. With Jann you got to more stuff. Im trying to still find the uses for 236p and 8h+k.
I use 8h+k for an opening move around round 2-3 and to keep space between me and the opponent if needed. Isn't 236p his high backhand or am I misremembering?
8h+K I hate because it's a jumping type and can be hit right out of it even though it is safe on block. Might be good for mid range. 236P I been trying to use after they tech roll and get back up.
And yeah that is correct it is backhand from 236p. He has another similar move but I hate the other one cause of the input.
