Maining? No. I'm considering him. I'm still floating between characters but the ones I have the most experience with are Eliot, Hayate, and Hitomi. I played Ein a lot in DOA2U and Hitomi's a lot like him, and after 2U I picked up Hayate and loved how he played, while having Eliot as a secondary just because he was new and interesting.

But I mean I'm interested in Mila now, as well as Ryu somewhat... but Idk. Hayate is balanced as far as mid ranged to close range, Up close he has the tools but the risk is more than the possible reward... ya know, lots of disadvantaging strings and moves. Also he's got no significant guard break pressure. Literally, NOTHING gives him good advantage, most he gets is +7.
