So no ban, eh? Good to know. I was only wondering because stages actually matter in doa compared to other games and yes the stages are exclusive to next gen.
Stages are exclusive to Last Round...which can be purchased for Current Gen and Old Gen consoles. Apparently, there will be a Last Round upgrade DLC you can buy for Ultimate.
So, not entirely sure where your info is coming from, sir.
The Last Round website claims the following are exclusive to next-gen: stages, customization options (aka hair), the customization screen at character select and the titty engine (lol)
At the moment I need to reserve them to different priorities but believe me I would love to get a next gen only for DoA =) But maybe my prediction is too much pessimistic, I think that I could get a new console much before, but definitely I don't think for February.
Well I have to admit that seems like a really bad design choice on team ninja's part. They were able to make all of the vanilla stages work in DOA 5+ for Vita by downgrading them, but they can't downgrade the stages from last round to PS3/360 levels?
This should've been easy as pie to do. They got dicked by KT on their production time, no two ways about it.
As far as tournaments go... this somewhat forces the issue of using next-gen. If there are at least 5 new stages, that's a substantial chunk of the game missing.
I agree, It was definitely a choice for pushing the purchase of the next gen consoles. By the way so far seems that we could end to get only 2 stages, however nothing discard some future additions (for me very likely because already happened for Vanilla or ultimate)
