DoA Dimensions is a remake of DoA1-DoA4, in terms of roster, stages and of course story. TN rework the story changing some parts and making it more coherent than previously, even if in the process they left out almost completely all the side-characters in the plot (and allowing you to play only with the shinobi and Helena).
