People probably not counting her. Then again a lot of people know sh** about her and think she is over power. Personally I wouldn't count her though since she is a boss character regardless. She will either end up too weak, or too strong with all the dumb kids whining. Plus I don't imagine her being a "long term" character in the competitive department.

Now I see that Tina, Christie and Mila were mentioned. This is too funny. Are people just picking there favorite characters because they suck with them? Seriously people. TN asked you to pick ONE character who is the weakest. That's not even a matter of opinion. People should be saying either Pai or Eliot. Case close.

Although really since VF characters are guest characters I don't expect them to care to work on them much. So at least Eliot should be getting some work. He's obviously the weakest "DOA" character.

I need to introduce you to Taimisu. Pai looks really solid in the right hands. But you could be dead on about Eliot.

That can be said about any character. I seen all the characters good in good hands. Pai is still the weakest. She does no damage, all her best damage combos are hard to do, and she has no big guaranteed sets up. Don't make me come slap you, Crimson!

Actually, that's the thing. I've seen Pai's best damage combos pulled off with almost ridiculous consistency and ease, doing damage just short of Jann Lee. Not a ton of great set ups and occasionally a little weak getting in, but she's not even comparable to Eliot.

You also need to keep in mind not many people use Pai so not everyone knows how to fight you. You base how weak/strong a character is based off of high level play. And if Pai was to play someone that knew how to fight the character she would get destroyed. Not to mention how hard it would be to pull off those combos against someone that know how to SE, hold her moves...etc

Eh, I've been playing this Pai for a bit. I'm not going to say it's definitive or anything (or that I've been having extreme trouble personally, not at all), but just having seen someone be able to put the tools together she just seems far too strong to be anything below mid at worst. Honestly, though, all of this is conjecture; we don't *have* high level play for the VF characters.

I mean, yes, people can hold her moves more or less the same way as anyone else's; I have to still test definitively all of the SE options out of her holds, though I don't assume too much of them. But she's another 2-3 touch into a 15 no-matter-what. I mean, where are you getting the idea she has no tools?

yes.... after leifang's midkick counter she can stun you for days and you can't do shit about it + her wall grab can do the same thing but worse because she can get bonus damage near a wall + a great reversal String that somehow literally dodges everything (high AND mids), But she's still LOW TIER. xD
