I don't have anyone to play offline with and my internet connection never gives me a good performance online. I simply have no ways of enjoying the game.

Try to make people around you play it. Many of them may have no idea that the game exists, but they may like it.

There are many games that didn't have good net code to begin with (MK9, KoFXIII). Still people like and play them, and try to engage others. You got to support your hobby. It won't get better if you give up.

I've tried too many things. I even offered to organize a national tournament and offer my place for people outside my city to stay. But the request was arbitrarily denied because the game is rated "Mature". My gamer friends have this scrub mentality of "playing for fun and laughs" and decided to quit the game when they didn't understand it. Even after they spent the whole 60$ on it.

Trust me, I've tried.

Halo 4 also hindered DOA5 too much where I live. The people I used to play with are Halo players and though they whined of being bored of playing "too much DOA" (even though one of them even said wanted to travel to DID 2013 with me) they're not spending 8+ hours in Halo lans daily. It pisses me the fuck off.
