It's just when I watch some Tekken vids of the top players, when they know the person isn't going to low kick getting up because they're afraid of getting low parried (compare that to pressuring the opponent not to wake up kick period on DOA5), they usually get close and as the person gets up
They strike, hoping to catch them and get that stun. Tech trapping applies a bit too... but I'm just finding that coming up and throwing out a string while someone gets up is very effective because it'll beat out any retaliation and if they block, i've got block break strings.
not TTT2. In T6 that's how it rolled except Tekken has a lot more options for waking up. Doesn't mean they're all effective but there's more options for sure. Only thing you can't really do is Tech Trap people who constantly tech roll after being knocked down.
I didn't say anything about Tekken Tag Tournament 2. I said Tekken, in general. DOA and Tekken do not have the same oki. The fact that in DOA you have to be wary about wakeups is already a clear cut fact they are not the same.
They don't? I didn't know they Tekken didn't have a low wake up kick, and lets not forget the spring up kick. So according to you, they do zero damage do they? I also didn't know you could poke at someone while they're getting up to grab or attack giving you the chance to have your attack land in the start up frames of their retaliation.
