You can't just ask for free stuff every time your service goes down. Besides, any time that an online service (Xbox Live, PSN, etc.) gave free stuff was because it was either a) Out for a long time or b) a serious security breach. This is neither. It's just a group of 14+ year olds that are IP flooding their asses off.

It would be in their best interests to give something free, either a free month of service, free game, etc., but demanding free stuff is a no no.
