Shit, sometimes, basics are all you need. If they're getting beat by you using basics, it means you didn't need to do anything advanced to beat them. They should be embarrassed, not trying to insult you.

Don't you hate that? I've had a couple of other Ayane mains that say that about mine throughout the year. I place top 8, top 3 2nd or won every tournament I've attended (local and major) and they don't even make it out of pools.

Seriously, let others negativity slide right on by you because it really doesn't matter. All that matters is your progression being a positive and you feeling good about it.
