I never understood why someone would feel like more of a gamer because they had all the current consoles. I don't think the Xbone is worth my money at the time and I am not really sold on the PS4 yet. They just don't offer much for me at the moment and that's if I ignore the shitty user interfaces.

You're reading into it. Just a sarcastic response to the "traitor" comment that was posted by another user. I think it's ridiculous to second guess a purchase ever. To play devil's advocate, though, I never have to worry about missing out on a game solely due to choosing a specific console, therefore allowing me to play everything if I so choose. Hence, being a gamer instead of a fanboy or something similar.

Ahh okay. Fanboysim doesn't make much sense either. I try to make my purchases as informed as I possibly can. If that rumor turns out to be true about Xbone being backwards compatible then I am going to get one immediately.

It'll be emulation style only if it ever happens so don't get too excited. Both consoles are honestly great values now for what's out and this should be a banner year for both. Sony has more first party exclusives this year. Xbox works great as a media center too so there's value in that. Buy one when it makes sense to you but the goal should always be to have them all eventually.

I bought both consoles recently. I made the decision to buy DOA on PS4 though because I think the graphics will look better on the PS4.

It's a multiplatform engine. It'll look and run the same on both. Fun fact though, the PS3 version of 5U runs worse than the 360 one. I'll be playing on Xbox One for Live and the controller.
