7K is good, really good actually. The hitbox on the kick extends out far and it whiff punishes well because of that. Even against attacks that go low. If the low does not tech crouch immediately 7K will launch on CH.
There is a use for everything. using 214P is on you to fit into his game play. it jumps lows, but it is slow and can be seen easily because of that. so poking with it will get you hit more than likely or flat out held.
Well that what I thought too on 214p because you can easily get hit out of it or held despite that it is +2 on block. Just seems so risky throwing that out and best in stun imo.
From what I can tell 214p, 8k, and 8p seem to be the moves that are not used that much. 8k seems understandable since nothing good seems to come from it.
Well I had assumed this was the case since it very unsafe and a high risk with little to no reward from using it.From what I know about 8k you can SE that move and block the incoming 66k though I guess you can run up and grab.
But I just thought it wasn't that good cause there not much you get from it and you can SE the move very easily, but maybe I underestimated the move.
When you SE from the stun you are still left back turned. You have press block or dash away to put up a defense again. When you are back is to a wall/object or near it and you opt to dash away 66K will hit for free.
In the middle of the floor 66K can still hit but you have to be in the right stance to do so to punish the dash away option. You can rush down with P6P and so what if it is blocked. You are putting on pressure.
