On my own game, I will. At tournaments that's not always possible.

Or better yet: If you have a current-gen system just overlay your own music from the dashboard. That reminds me... I need to make a status update. (LOL at I "need" to make a status update)

Really? For me, if I mute the music my mp3 device plays through the PS4. How does it work on XONE? I'm not sure what snap means. Sorry. I'm a noob!

The Xbox has the ability to do it but MS is dragging their feet. We can play music off of externals and everything but we can only play it while in a game if we snap the media app. Snapping is when it goes off to the side in a smaller window while you play a game or something else in most of your screen. Some really love it. I hate it.

I can change it anyway in-game but the main issue is tournaments. Bad form to go in and customize music before a match.

Isn't that why people usually wear headphones? To avoid crowd noise and/or in game music they don't want to listen to.

Thank you for the clarification! Microsoft can be a real d-bag when it comes to... XBOX ONE. That would be so annoying. If PS4 ever does something like that I will not update. Hope they get that fixed so you can customize that soundtrack. I really can't handle her theme either.

Jyakotu, people wear headsets at stations to drown out crowd but hear the game, hence music still being a problem. Wearing your own headphones hooked up to a phone or something removes in-game audio completely and you can miss important audio cues. That's not a good thing.

lotr9690, Xbox One has extra media features that the PS4 doesn't support. Not the least of which is actual external support for saves and media and such. They've also added a stupid amount of features since launch, most of which were asked for by gamers. It'll happen before too long.

Tournament play could be a hassle. You can only hope you won't have to deal with many Honoka players. I generally don't notice the music outside of the intros. Once the fighting starts I generally ignore it

That's true! I forgot about all those features. I guess it just sucks while they drag their feet. I'm sure they'll get there before ya know it. And I agree with you @ChrisArmoun . I've never been to a US tournament but I go to the DOA5U Arcade tournaments and that's pretty much what happens whenever I play there.
