I was being reckless and he figured out that spacing me out is his key to victory. He was owning me and unfortunate the lag made it worse for the both of us and we were getting away with major bullshit. I wouldn't mind having a rematch against Phoenix.

I had a session with him a couple of days ago where I thought him a few tricks. He did drop damage a lot of times and made some bad decisions, though. Overall he performed well.

Anyways, sidestepping the Tenku is not a great idea. You can avoid the P, K and P+K, but the T will hit you on counter hit. I have some shenanigans when even those moves become tracking, though. I'm not entirely sure, but I think you can fuzzy guard all of Momiji's options from the air. If you see her try a throw or simply not do any move (common thing to bait a hold), you can use your strongest low throw to punish.

I can fuzzy guard all of her options when she's in the air. That's if I block and not get hit though and I was getting owned with that lol I also have a bad habit of not blocking in the middle of my opponents string.

Like, I'll block the first two hits and the last hit will most likely get me on a stun and screws me up.

I was surprised how many times you got hit by the power blow. I guess it's time to stop low holding out of stun. :v

The spacing was the thing that killing me which is good for him. I'm not at him for doing so. My game plan to prevent that is keep him trap on a wall pressure to prevent him from zoning me out.

The low hold was accidental. I was trying to SE but whenever I SE online it's pretty bad. The was I SE I hold the H button and rotate the crap out of my D-Pad and most of the time it registers as a low hold or advance low hold.

Ah, that makes perfect sense. Although it shouldn't register as a hold if you press block first and then rotate. But it's online, anything can and will happen.
