That's pretty much it. It's a fetish where ppl get the sexual thrill of a person getting beaten, bruised, tortured, etc. In short, all that stuff turns ppl on. :/

Now i get it! I'm glad i have no such fetish myself. I really don't like seeing anyone, especially women in torturous pain or situations. I guess that's why i feel uncomfortable watching Bayman completely break his victims, especially Kasumi and Marie Rose. It's just disturbing...

I think you fail to understand what a fetish actually is if you assume misogyny has anything to do with it. That's just playing it safe.

A fetish is something that turns someone on for instinctual reasons that make no real sense.

Some people have a foot fetish. Some people have nose fetish. Some people have a ryona fetish. Some people have all kinds of S&M fetish.

If a guy watches a video of a porn actress doing some S&M activity, that doesn't mean he hates women. It means watching that video gives him a boner. That's where it begins and ends, and nobody is really in any place to judge.

Now if the idea of rape turned somebody on (we are animals of instinct, after all), and they took it upon themselves to run around raping people, then yes you would have yourself a shitty human being. Particularly since, as you have already noticed, such fetishes can already be satisfied through fictional videos and content.

Finally I'll say this. Everybody has fetishes. Everybody. To claim they don't is bald faced lie. Some people aren't even aware of them until later in life. Now you don't have to go around announcing your fetish, that's a choice. But you shouldn't look down on other peoples fetish's either.

To have a fetish is not a choice. How you choose to satisfy that fetish is a choice. Remember that.
