I have one question before I do something that's probably stupid, do you think if I reset/format the entire ps3, will that fix my ps3 crashing?

yep, your harddrive is corrupted, restore file system first. then go to reformating it, my ps3 corrupted 5 times because the harddrive so.

But I restored that hard drive like 2 or 3 times. Same concept; it crashes. I know if I format the entire ps3, everything is gone. Accounts, downloads, everything. If I do that, idk if it will be a waste or not.

So it's not the PS3 but the HDD? I'd say get another HDD when you're able. You'll have to re-DL everything though

Nope, youre the only one on the accounts so you can just redownload all your dlc and stuff. Just reformat it, and leave it on all night and get your stuff downloaded
