^^^ Yeah I hardly buy any games there anymore. I go to the store I always go to and I get a better result. I can pay a $40 game with like $35 and pay the rest at another time. Don't see a point in a pre-order either for DOA5LR since it will be on the store a couple weeks after that.
I wish there were stores that weren't Gamestop in my city. Sadly, the only gaming store here is Gamestop, it's also ways away from where I live.
*rages internally*
@XV MR ARMANI - Nah, they are charging extra if you plan to get it this early, they are basically making a profit selling it early with the extra price. When I went there they were charging $61 for it. DOA5LR isn't worth that much to be charged 60 since it's the same type of game as 5U.
@Pink Nitro - Feel you..but yeah it's totally not worth 60 cash. I'm getting the game on the 12th for the lower price.
I'm still on PS3, I see no reason to upgrade to current gen. Plus there's PC, but that situation is entirely different. Lemme know how Danger Zone is. It's probably the only thing I'm excited about.
@SweetRevenge117 - Yo yoooo. Yeah man, they are not putting it on the shelf because it's illegal but they don't mind selling it if you got the extra cash.
@Pink Nitro - I tried to convince the guy to sell it to me for 45. I got games early before there and I pay in full...but his boss was being iffy and worried because of that new upcoming Dragonball Z game. People seem to go ham for it or something.
@DestructionBomb whaaat lol I would've walked right on out of the store if I heard that. TN basically pulled a cash-- I mean capcom on us already as it is. No use in paying $61.
@Pink Nitro I was going to say the same thing. It isn't worth getting a brand new console for two stages, some salad characters and some particle effects.
@DestructionBomb, I had no idea people still haggle. How does that work, I've never tried it. Considered it, though. @XV MR ARMANI, yea, I wanna support TN, but it took me 3-4 years just to convince my parents to buy me a console, no joke.
@Pink Nitro - Well even haggling is considered bad depending on where you are purchasing. People do it as a way of persuasion and getting on the good side of things. I thought it would of been easier for me since the store likes me for buying games and they let me off with games in the past at a lower price while I always pay back next time.
The problem is this week since the store is known to have other people buying it early..and that DBZ game seems popular so he doesn't want to get in trouble and lose his job..which is reasonable.
