Too much work in dismantling a console such as keeping screws together, preventing them from disappearing, and remembering where each screw goes in. And you know what else? I dismantled my ps3, cleaned off as much dust as possible, reassembled it, turned it on, and it still froze and did the artifact thing the moment it turned on! I give up...
