The list is in the original post and adding pictures just fosters dissent and more drama. There's enough of that in one thread for a single TO in one country making a decision for streamed matches only, don't you think?
In his case I think that someone should edit the original post with a link to the pictures. I'm suggesting this because in these days I read many posts of people talking of ninja and santa outfits banned. I know that the problem is that they don't look enough for infos, however the purpose of the ruleset should be even the one to appear the most clearer possible to the users reading it.
The issue is not people thinking certain costumes are banned, it's the sensationalizing of it all. We're talking about 5% of matches at tournaments that represent a similar percentage of tournaments in a single country. It's tiresome and overblown. I don't agree with the way things were done myself but I won't support more fuel being tossed on a needlessly large fire.
I agree with you, but being fair some (non all) people in the beginning went against the ban just for avoiding the inevitable sensazionalizing of it outside the FSD, thing that later happened. When someone think about that 5% of matches (and how such sexy outfits were already not used), honestly I think that everything could be easily avoided not implementing a similar rule.
Anyway for the reasons that I said before, I also think that this ban can led to some results not in the effective use, but rather only becoming popular in the web and reaching TK and other players in a such way. So if the ban is here for staying, at this point this big fuss (outside FSD) could be the better scenario for obtaining some outcomes from it. Of course only my opinion.
I didn't lock the thread because it was against the ban, I locked it because of what I already stated. The point of showing the images is to show people which costumes were banned and a lot of them are admittedly tame. I agree with Corza and many others that most of those, especially simple bikinis and overalls, should not be banned.
But I don't see the point of another thread that just continues the argument which has been very one sided. Nobody is arguing with those upset about the ban, notice. It's just a lot of venting and that should be contained in one thread. Hence my lock.
I said anything against your ban, the purpose of the thread was fulfilled with the OP in my opinion (if really wanted be a thread of explanation). But at this point is useless to create a ban and then not wishing to make clear it, if such outfits are banned I think that the TO should edit the rulese with a link for having a better knowledge of the ban (the thread or the article on the DoA wikia).
