Well I can never seem to find good setups with her I also find myself doing her 4p+k (or Unshu I believe its called) waaaay to much and it gets me in a trouble a lot during a match, also I never know what to do when I have the opponents back turn towards me I have such a slow reaction to that
Abuse her crushes, try to vary routes into unshu, worry less about setups and more about capitalizing her defensive strengths. I win a lot more consistently with her when I stop trying to play her like the other characters, and literally just punish over-aggression and extension.
I dunno if you played Dissidia at all, but I manage her a lot like a block-and-punish Cloud. I aim to make the other guy scared to attack at all, then when I do reach for the long pokes, there's little they can do about it.
Very much a mindset thing, imo. Better players, (of which there are many,) I'm sure may tell you different. But when I wanna go exploring for interesting setups and mix ups, I play someone else.
yw - definitely stick with it. She takes a while to adjust to, but the reward is worth the effort.
Also, I don't know how much time you get offline with other players, but practicing local might help you breakthrough with her. The forward parries are something of a bitch on the current online netcode. Harder than in Ultimate, imo.
I would really love to play offline with other players but...no transportation and there are a few doa players that live close by that I would love to play offline with but I'm going to change that so plus I'm kinda sick of online lol
Online in LR really is getting on my tits, I must admit. Can't get a ranked above 1 bar, and lobbies over here are full of people dicking about and chain-taunting.
Thankfully I've got a bunch of guys local that love lan'ing, but Bloodborne has already poached a chunk of those, and GTA and MKX may get the rest
Yeah online seems to get more and more ridiculous and the excuses people make seem to get a lot dumb. I really wish I could meet up with people lol but I'll be patient about it.
