I knew he was good but like...*sigh*....I'm just not ready for any of that, and most likely never will be. I'm not sure that I'll recover from all that...
The way I try to look at it when he beats me up, is I try to focus on what he's punishing and learn from it. Because he's not an "online/casual" player he's punishing and doing set ups that work. So I just use every ass kicking as a learning experience
Man, I don't know....that may have been pretty casual for you, but me? I felt like everything I've learned and everything I've been taught in this game....meant shit when fighting you. After losing so badly, I'm not even sure its possible for me to recover after that.
But just people feeling so discourage so quickly after having played with a good player. That's not what you should feel, instead you take it as a learning experience and realize that you have more room to grow.
There's always room to learn in any fighting game, just look at him as a way to make yourself safer (frame wise) and learn what not to throw out and what to throw out. Your Kokoro and Akira are good Just try to relax and have fun and absorb what he's doing so you can learn from it and make them even stronger
