Anything but Phantom Road is a godsend.
I tried the Green Plant stage and I love the view it gives you while you're racing. Probably one my of favorite tracks.
I know, that cup hates me. If it isn't Black Shadow, then it'll be Deathborn or Samurai Goroh, etc. AX Cup was surprisingly easy, though. I did love the scenery that Outer Space and Green Plant gave me.
It's because the AX Cup wasn't designed to be difficult as a whole. Those tracks were designed to be fun and gradually get more difficult one after the other, as they were the only six courses available in F-Zero AX.
I justed made a custom machine and picked Mighty Gazelle. I just wish my pals wouldn't write this game off as shit because they refuse to actually give the game a chance.
Honestly, vs play is pretty lame in that game anyway. The machine balance is dreadful, so it's entirely possible for the player with the better top speed and booster to just keep boosting and never be at risk of losing.
The splitscreen also makes the courses more difficult and awkward to navigate.
High level competition in GX focuses on comparing time records instead and they have different circuits and stuff that allow different setting and techniques.
Well that sucks, one friend was commenting on how Spark Moon had the same stats as Blue Falcon, yet felt sort of "Slippery", I think? I guess that's what you mean by unbalanced?
Fat Shark is annoying to beat on Master class.
