I heard that the game was rather good... or maybe there is something blatantly missing or the was simply overhyped...

You're telling me, the game is running in the previous title's engine for god's sake.

I thought people liked it for that open world jank. All I hear is how things would hilariously break. Like NPCs getting into your power armor and stretching out their model.

Compared to Fallout 3 and NV, 4 was a pretty big letdown IMO. They took out a few key things and simplified others.

Glad so many of you agree. I was surprised by the glowingly positive reviews (probably shouldn't have been though) but this game is a buggy, unattractive mess. I will see it through to the end since Fallout 3 redeemed itself for me towards the end with the Liberty Prime stuff, but yeah. Kind of trudging through muck at this point.
