ouch, yeah ive been there before. when i first started in DOA4 i challenged Awesmic over and over and lost everytime. i didn't mind losing but the resulting rank downs made it so nobody would fight because if i beat them then it would destroy their rank as well.

Thank goodness we have private lobbies for fighting friends without any rank downs. I've been stuck in F rank because every player I encounter almost always declines the match. E ranks actually accept more, but they turtle way more and play more erratically XD

Why a B rank? B is for basic, go for diamond. Diamond is for flawless!

because we're less than basic. i think i had B rank for like a second then lost it.

Do you get rank battles via throwdowns, or go online and find matches?

Yeah, I would love diamond rank, but for now I want to get back to my old rank I had before LR. Once I achieve it, I'll shoot for A, S, and whatever comes after that. How high rank is isn't really a big deal to me, mainly because skill strangely doesn't always equal the rank the player has. I've played some awesome F ranks and fought some less skilled S ranks in lobbies and such.

@DoANoob I mix and match. When I'm really warming up or feeling serious, I usually turn on throwdowns and play arcade hard difficulty or just train until I get a match. If I'm bored and just feeling relaxed, I'll go online and search a ranked match which takes 2-5 minutes while I play Animal Crossing or sketch.

Somehow when I set the throw downs on, if I see a passerby they'll show [] as their connection, but when I accept their battle, [] changes to <>.

That happens sometimes to me too, it could be their connection because I search for any matches instead of nearby or in my region.

How can a <WiFi> connection disguise itself as a [Wired] connection? That I'm curious about. I wish I had the type of connection the Japanese have. They connection looks flawless. I've watched streams and when they're online, It's mostly [5] connections.

Some wifi connections can actually work almost as well as a wired one too, but it's all about placement. Like my ps4 is located in my room, and the router is out in the living but it's close enough to have a pretty slick connet

My ps4 is in my room as well, but the gateway modem, router, whichever it is(idk the difference) is in my grandmother's room across the hallway from mine. Hence, why I asked her to buy a 100 ft Ethernet cable.

100 ft?! Woah, I didn't know they came that long :-0 I may need to ask for one
