its nothing like DOA4 ..there are plenty of guaranteed setups still and the health reduction makes the game more aggressive.

Yes, there are plenty of guaranteed set ups for "Lei Fang" so the game is fine for you lol.

Yea, the glitch was the best thing to happen to the game. It didn't effect me personally but I'm still considering dropping the game on principle.

So you're going to stop playing DOA5 for good?

SD, I don't just play Lei Fang. Hell I haven't used her in ages. the game as it is now is great and feels right. Rikuto, you wont quit.. you'll just complain a lot at first, then wise up and discover awesome tech.

I'm already set as far as tech goes. I can win the game against 99.9% of the people who play it without trouble.

But there is a difference between winning in a game and enjoying it. The most difficult matches I have in this game actually require less thought process than my lowest level fights, simply because we have both already broken everything down to odds and patterns.

Everything becomes automatic, nothing is more dangerous than anything else. It's boring. There is no other way to describe it.

And this is also the same reason I quit playing DOA 4. "Tech" didn't keep me playing that game. Occasionally, the lure of money did.

I understand where you're coming from.but, as much as the stagger escape glitch had its rewards, it wasn't the only guaranteed way for damage. I still feel the game is a huge evolution over DOA4 and calling the game a DOA4 clone is unfair.
