I honestly prefer Hitomi with shorter hair, her loose hair is too short and her ponytail isn't as flowy and long and kasumi.

Not fair? Well Hitomi has better loose hair than Kasumi does, and Kasumi has the best ponytail in the game. I guess TN was trying to emphasize more realism in how some girls look better with loose or tied back hair.
