Well there is a mechanic in the game where you can dash, run, and roll to sides so that helps evade attacks. Its a fun game though, but I think the damage dealt is way too high.
Yeah, it seems ridiculous, but hey, TN doesn't want it to be a cakewalk actually getting a free DLC XD. They knew what they were doing when they made it this hard
The game is taking the Dark Souls approach, which means that the full game will still be unforgiving.
I finished it today. The electric dog boss Nue and Oni warriors are the most annoying so far within the demo. What this game does to you is that they punish the overconfident to those that abuse the system and AI.
I can recall the amount of times I went overconfident on certain enemies because they are either open or you have a particular advantage, but yet the unexpected can still wound you. For example, an enemy is almost dead and you only need one swing to kill him. You both trade hits - except that he wounded you more than his death.
If you must know, I've died more than 10x against that electric dog and died about 6x against the Oni warriors. Rikuto can explain it to you as well, but yeah you do get a reward for beating it.
Ah wish I knew. It took me hours to beat it since dying sucks bad. Especially if you go to an area for the first time and unaware of what to expect. Happens to a lot of people and even me.
I really don't know what to do when there's 3+ enemies on you at once, death just seems inevitable. And I love when I L1+square parry an enemy then another immediately OHKO's me with an axe to my back
@Chapstick - Yeah these are the worst, especially if you are trying to conserve stamina and relying on specific stances to kill enemies or generate a stance switch combo to regain stamina boost. You could be dealing with 4 enemies for 15-20 minutes because you don't want to get hit and that is reasonable.
This demo sounds even more brutal than I thought....I hope I can level up right away, three enemies attacking at once is like a near death sentence. And this stamina thing seems to add up to the difficulty
