It's not as short as people are saying unless the chapters get shorter as you go. I haven't been skipping codec conversations or cutscenes and I'm only at the end of the second normal level. Took me about an hour and a half so far and there are seven normal levels from what I can tell by the achievements.

Should be about 9-10 hours total, which isn't bad considering there are more difficulties to unlock.
