Just a question on MGR. Are the bosses as epic as they say & how much QTE is there in this game? I can't base my play on much just from a demo. Cheers champ.
I really enjoyed the most but two of them were not well designed. Unfortunately the final boss is one of those. There is some QTE but it's generally intuitive and mostly just in boss fights. No weird button presses as it's all very contextual. The dynamic music in the boss fights really sells them.
DmC is better than MGR simply due to the higher difficulties in DmC being more rewarding and actually playable. MGR's camera issues (keep in mind I've always defended camera systems in action games up til now) literally break the game. The first boss in the prologue is damn near impossible without sheer luck thanks to one-hit kills on you and weird auto-targeting from Raiden with and without lock on.
Hmm.. it sounds like the camera acts differently according to difficulty; I don't remember it behaving like that in Hard. I wonder if they can patch that..
Yeah I had no problems until then but it happened for a good dozen deaths in a row on Ray. Camera acted like it was locked on the head and Raiden would often rapidly change targets. I tried actually locking on to a leg and it would do the same thing. Eventually just gave up. Bug, maybe, but it was off-putting enough to turn me off of the mode.
