You'll likely see DOA6 some time after Nioh and Dissidia are finished, so... not for a while.

They will make DOA 6 and it will be just the same as DOA5, a DLC costume overload.

This really brings me down, because DOA5 is a 2012 game and it's really starting to show. I want new shit, I'm getting tired of them milking the cow dry.

I know there was a large gap between 4 and 5, but there was a lot of drama behind the development. There's no excuse now.

Not to mention anything that nu Team Ninja does that isn't a DOA fighting game will inevitably flop, as proven by past games and probably by Nioh from the looks of it.

But DOA5 is still a good solid game, if the fans stop playing, then the lifespan will decrease and the DLC sales are low, perhaps then TN will consider a new DOA game.

There was a pretty large gap between 3 and 4 also, the wait was just numbed with a DOA2 remake. I seriously don't see the need of a rush, DOA6 wont be a magic game that changes everything itll be DOAX3s graphics and DOA5s gameplay and DLC practices

Well, it looks like we're getting close to SCVI since they're clearly building hype for an announcement. Hopefully PS doesn't milk SCVI with an endless amount of pervy costumes like TN does with DOA5, and we can actually get SCVII sooner afterwards.

It's not necessarily about being 'better'. It's the sheer fact that the brain needs new stuff to produce chemicals that make you feel better. You don't get that by seeing the same game being milked over and over for half a decade.

Most of the DLC for this game is crap anyway to be honest.

Namco bandai aren't into the DLC float like TN, so SC6 is pretty much save.

To be fair, DOA has included a good amount of new characters to freshen up the game.
