Well, I was actually being fair of course.
There are some guest characters that are questionable (*Cough Naotora Cough*), but there are certain guest characters that made the game far more enjoyable than it is in terms of "new" and "diverse" technically speaking. It's a matter of what they choose and who they bring but in technical definition, guest characters are "new" to the game.
