It's not that he bores me. It's the fact that the game commits too much to a specific direction to play a character into commencing more reads than normal in not favorable situations, especially in speed priority and reduction of backdashing to whiff punish properly in certain scenarios.
Raidou at the moment is more of a character with the opponent messing up and not in the least of improvement in a overall character design. Questionable cases, however most don't understand the aim here, so they just accept it as a deal with it type thing since they are too fully absorbed in their own priorities.
Raidou was merely a character I simply picked up because barely anyone would play him. When you look at my past posts, he was never a character I was excited for. He was indifferent. In fact, I was more excited for Bankotsubo/Nyotengu but never got the chance to sit down and play Nyotengu.
Ahh okay. I just remember you as one of the few people posting shit with him. I thought He looked cool and usually thats enough but his movement speed turned me right off from him.
I just have to get used to Nyotengu commands and overall buttons. Those awkward delays and recovery puts me off.
Eliot is another character but I actually waited until someone showed what that character can do. Bayman I never really considered in the past but he has been putting me for interest due to theory holding and advantage from breaking throws.
I play Raidou just like I play Ein, as it becomes more and more apparent to me that both characters have extremely similar move-sets and play styles. When you think of it like that, Raidou suddenly becomes more interesting. At least for me.
Yup, I pretty much only played Raidou because I needed some kind of Genra replacement. He's still fun but it's not the same at all. Hopefully mai kinda fills the gap for me.
lots of trolling with her for your viewers pleasure.
