I do not know, it's really jarring 0_o We're not sure if they'll actually add four more, but they'll have to add two to each bottom side of the character select, that or put them towards the middle so they can add the "random" slot back in too.

We're not sure it'll be definitely 4, but we got 2 DLC characters this year and they'll probably follow the trend for 2017 and maybe 2018 if they plan on not lettin' up XD

Think about it. Raidou, the boss of DOA 1, is in DOA5LR, Nyotengu is a representative of a Tengu character, the boss of DOA2, the boss of DOA5, Alpha 152, is in DOA 5 since the beginning, but we don't have a Genra type of character yet.

I can see them adding a sort of new character to represent his style, not so much bringing him back since he is dead.

Add in Shiden, Jo Hayabusa, Genshin, and an alternative Ayane (kind of like Ein and Hayate) that has genra's moveset, since she replaced him in their clan. Who needs guests...

@Sotherius The reason Raidou and Nyotengu got in, was because the fans all messaged TeamNinja for there recasting in the roster.
So maybe there arent many Genra fans or Team Ninja is still in development creating him. :O
