second, you can NOT petition to change president but you CAN(and what it was originally for) petition to changes laws. change the electoral college method it won't fix the issue but it will prevent it from happening again and im sure there are some conservatives who are dissatisfied with it as well.

As much as I do not like either individuals, people have to remember that Trump is not a dictator for the world. Being a president is being the body of it and representing it via US grounds. If you are a bad representative then actions will be placed, it is too early to make such actions without seeing what he does first.

Even so, you cannot overthrow the president for whining reasons from political loss. You have society stabbing people in trains because they voted for someone for actual legitimate reasons. Having Hillary would make minor differences from a standpoint in terms of American soil help. People are too caught up in the negative that may not even come true.

That's kind of my mentality atm, I'm not happy about the voting aftermath but I think it's not completely hopeless that he's elected. I think we should at least see what he's gonna do first, the government I'm sure won't let him fuck up anything without an intervene

You also have people that are simply jumping on the bandwagon on why they dislike the candidate. Facebook is full of this as an example. "gargneaiqhuyozynbtaz I hate Trump because my friend hates Trump! Why does my friend hate Hillary? let me ask him! - Yeah that's why! I agree with my friend! ahntabeiyaby". - I mean really, lots of it is indoctrination and spoils.

I couldn't agree more, I mean I still dislike him and what he's said and stuff but people shouldn't jump on the bandwagon just because it seems acceptable.

Petitions usually fail anyway, and there is no point in really overthrowing Trump at this point. Wouldn't make a difference since it will create a rally on their side because apparently Hillary's side is the correct one when they are no different than Trump supporters in technical.

The main threat is Trump's overzealous supporters. It hasn't even been a week yet and incidents have happened all over the place. Trump is the one who influenced this type of despicable behavior throughout the whole campaign. And after he won, they feel more in control and are going apeshit insane. That's what's terrifying. Makes me afraid for my friends and family.

Yeah, if you think about it, Trump hasn't even done anything yet, he's not in office until January. It's his influence that's been bestowed on his followers and them mainly who think it's OK to act like ignorant pawns and wreak havoc. I hope this calms down soon, I'd be shocked to come on FSD and a member doesn't return because of this
