Is this game as bad on PS4 as well, or did TN just say 'to hell with the xbox1' when they released it??

Ps4 is almost as bad, the new stages tale forever to load and stabilize and my copy of the game will be unreadable and have to be ejected if left in for 2-3 days on rest mode.

I don't know what's up with yours, but the only issue I've had which is universal is the lousy netcode. Disconnects and crashing rarely happens.
