Her design is completely unimaginative and devoid of finesse, not to mention her schticks are already done better by other girls in the cast.

The only thing I like about her is her breasts which amount to nothing in the end because she is so unlikable to me. I remember when she was announced I stopped caring about DOA for a good while.

I'm sorry I dislike her so much. But in a way she embodies why a lot of Japanese videogames nowdays mostly care about people who love archetypes and comfort zones more than characters.

It's so ridiculous that a clone mish mash character got popular just because she is a ditzy girl with no backstory and huge bonkers.
Unless I'm wrong and they saw the best DOA character ever, and I didn't.

It's because she looks similar to Honoka from Love Live, which is immensely popular (and as of the latest season, rightfully so since it's starting to feel like a spiritual successor to Jem & The Holograms).

But yeah, she is absolutely one of the worst original DOA characters TK has every brought in the series. They could have came up with something way better than this...thing.

@KasumiLover69, tell him to stop talking about stuff he has barely any knowledge about. JL is the most original Bruce Lee inspired character in any fighting game. He's not a ''salad'' since he doesn't take from multiple sources. How ignorant can that guy get? lol.

@CookingMama: If this was 1995 when I was far more susceptible to falling for anime chicks the same way I did Miyu from Vampire Princess Miyu, I'd probably love the character by now. Unfortunately, I've been well past puberty for a couple decades.

Not imo, Honoka is cute but her range and power is inferior to naotora. You can't call Naotora bad personality wise if you use Honoka, they're both the same general moe archetype. That's why I was like "WTF?" when CM tried to come for Naotora. Hell no xD
