I kinda want a red one anyway, I'll go to Gamestop probably sometime in February and get that but I may just be imagining things. It doesn't seem to affect any other games I play xD

This happened before she even came XD I think it was SKEV, I do admit to abusing the circle button in that game, in DOA I mostly use triangle for punches but that one is as responsive as ever 0_o

Don't go to GameStop, just order a Hori FC or something online.

both, I prefer a normal controller and my character pool doesn't involve any arcade stick suited movesets

If you looked it up you would have seen that it's a pad. : ^) There's also no such thing as "arcade suited" movesets.

Akira and the VFs are better played on stick for example are what I meant, and if it's pad I'll try that out then, sorry I thought it was arcade stick xD

Not necessarily, all the characters can be played just as well on a pad as they can be on stick. Getting a stick isn't going to magically get me to do just frames easier. It's a matter of the player.

What about inputs tho? Like in KOF the inputs are better suited on stick

Again, this simply isn't true. Getting a stick isn't going to help you do a pretzel motion. You can do all of the inputs on pad just as you can on stick. It's all based on player preferences.

Spiny is correct KL. It's all a matter of preference. The only difference is the execution factor between KOF and DOA. KOF has to be on hit for most commands on confirm whereas DOA is all buffering one to the next but no big issue on physical contact on inputs. I play some characters better on pad because of the movement is easier to do on pad.
