I can truly understand having a thread for it because it gets compiled all in that one simple thread, honestly don't think there's anything wrong with that. With each passing day, it seems as if FSD is slowly converting into an anime convention while filling up with users who feed into that. Shit I love anime, I just don't exaggerate with it.

I think the main issue with the casual thread was that it was a pain in the ass to moderate, and from what I heard, generated a lot of unjustified reports, too, along with the justified ones.

@Juihau I mean the casual thread had it coming as the days went by. A little part of me misses Vanilla and 5U FSD because it wasn't as hazardous. Everything was mostly even in the casual side and competitive nature of it all. It's more like everything back then was more positive on the mix than the negative really. It's nowhere near DOACentral stuff right now, but if this keeps up? it might be someday lol.

Actually on a fair note, Freestepdodge is suppose to be more enforced as a competitive site than anything else, but the lack of competitive players didn't do so much, so it just kinda lets everyone in and then suppose to turn them into competitive players, though I still believe that mindset is not that great to draw players in because there has to be some casual appeal to it. Too competitive can be a turn off too.

true. I don't know if this applies to me though lol. Still trying to get used to memorizing numbers on a numeric/directional keypad so whenever someone says "use 33p" i don't have to go to my keyboard lol.

You could play the game without learning it since it's based on the person for taking the time for that, you don't have to learn it and could still enjoy DOA for what it is. It's just that those times felt more equal to this sort of thing with how the site progressed.
