Never seen someone so happy about his mom getting surgery.

Oh I'm not happy, she's just gonna get her tonsils removed is all. That means I can be alone for a while since she may be in the hospital having the procedure and recovery for a week or so

Bible camp actually exists?

I think it's vacation bible school. I had to go from 7-8 pm the last 3 years but lucky for me I don't have to attend this week long one since I'm 19

For writing this profile update you should be joining your sister in bible camp.

No please... with everything I am and have done I would probably be nervous sitting at a bible camp...

So, what do kids/teenagers do in bible camp?

Oh sorry I was playing some rather...one sided Tekken tag sets with my sister, but they make us read scriptures, and do bible activities and such relating to what we learn, and then they feed us something afterwards

I'm one of the few kids who pay attention since most of the other kids there are ratchet and ghetto and good so they tend to give me special stuff for knowing certain verses and stuff

Oh sorry I made that sound kind of strange didn't i?? What I mean is they give us stuff like hotdogs or something like that for supper, although the church we went to before this one had better food, like chicken, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese, and special stuff is like prizes for knowing verses, like a McDonald's gift card or something small but still useful

You get your tonsils removed at the hospital? I thought they did that at like an ear nose and throat place.

I honestly don't know if it is the hospital since I myself never got mine out from what I remember but maybe she just was mistaken

I looked it up and I guess it is at the hospital. You go home the same day as the procedure though and afaik it's not a long one

I'm not sure in this case tho, mom said adults don't often have their tonsils removed since you're kinda supposed to have them out at a younger age but my grandma must not have done that, so she said she'll probably stay to kinda recover but she may come home

I would say southern food, the church we used to go to was all white and we were like the only black people there, out current one is mainly all black but they serve stuff like pizza and soda, but my old church had Wednesday night supper which I do miss

@Chapstick, at least here the procedure is done in the hospital under general anesthetic and you actually do have to stay several days up to a week in the hospital afterwards. The first couple of days also hurt LIKE HELL. D: At least it did for me, but maybe my 11 years old self was just a wuss, lol. XD
But you get to eat ice cream. :3 It's good for the healing process and numbs the pain.
