I think Tom is super cool with Itagaki now. For TN? prob not lol. He could be consultant for TN but I super doubt it. I don't think they'll give him that luxury if he came back.

they really should though. don't let him touch the mechanics, but let him bring back the style and charm the older DOAs had.

I prefer for him to only return to NG simply because he was never really into fighting games despite him creating the DOA series.

^DOA5 desperately needs his sense of style back. I don't care how "competitive" it is now, the old aesthetic was better, plus music and everything.

Sense of style? he would of been in the same stuck situation as Yosuke when you have a higher up in their grips. I would rather have something tolerable that works regardless of competitive portions. Has nothing to do with being competitive really but rather promoting the series without holding it back. DOA needs to be out there and Itagaki just wasn't the guy.
