I think they did confirm a while back in a previous interview that there will be new characters introduced into the game, mind you s in plural as character(s) so they are potentially hinting at 2-3 somewhere. Probably at Tokyo Gameshow but i'm keeping expectations to a mid since the playable...

Honestly pretty excited to see more of it at Tokyo Gameshow: Potentially might be this trailer with a playable build at TGS so more stuff will be uncovered there I'd imagine.
