Hopefully there will be as few SCV characters in the next game as possible. We need the classic roster. The one I want gone the most is Patroklos, and since Namco threw him under the bus, his chances of returning don't seem too good thankfully.

September is officially Talim's month.

You know, assuming they even continue from SCV. I get the sense that they aren't going to continue from that game, and bring back fighters from SCIV using Astral Chaos. Largely due to the poll, and the fact that Daishi is no longer around.

I also find it interesting how this round consists almost entirely of SCV roster cuts, with Elysium being the lone exception. Does this mean anything, you think?

Interesting how six of the eight contestants are women. I wonder if this has any indication at all on the future of SC.

Nothing new on Facebook today, which was a bummer. I wanted to see what the new tournament would be.

They better not screw up Taki's design in SCVI. We need her signature skin-tight outfit that leaves nothing to the imagination!

I'm not sure what the significance of the tournament is, but Taki winning was the best possible outcome. It sends Project Soul the message that their fans want the old characters back, if the poll last year didn't do that already.

Those matchups seem to perfect, doesn't quite have the 'random' factor that the first one did (apart from Taki vs. Natsu).

Siegfried getting the edge is surprising to me. In the poll Taki placed much higher than him, #2 to his #6 and got 220 more votes. Where are all those Taki voters when you need them?

Taki vs. Siegfried is underway. It's pretty close but I think Taki has the edge here. We'll see how it ends soon enough.

This better be leading up to an announcement, preferably at TGS. If we get to the end of this and they say "Thanks for celebrating the 20th anniversary with us, now go back to waiting for nothing", I'll be mad.
