No because detachable means there is a weak point. Possible point of failure. Also the magnet could get weak over time and fail to hold the arm on and so forth.

You need to download Zack Island and the newest AoT stage but to my knowledge the rest should be on-disc. You shouldn't need to unlock them. Try turning on Exhibition Mode and see if they show up.
