    How to play Brad Wong.

The moves that transition him into LHT (laying head towards) crushes mid during the end of it. It has always been like that. 1k should hit. Apart from that just low grab, those moves are unsafe (other than while running p/236p if it hits during the last active frames). I think I get what...

    Characters for DOA beginners

I recommend Tina to beginners. Extremely basic mix ups, has a good crush or 2, strong and easy juggles, throw set ups, OH set ups, and Tina makes a smart opponent think twice about countering with her massive damage throws.

"You are tearing me apart, Lisa!" The Lisa Strategy thread

She does that with her normal OH, it's just more noticeable. There is no evasive properties either. Apart from when I screw up the Deja Vu input. I've been using it once or twice a game when we got more than a jab space between use, where as you're likely to dash in with the other.

    The Carrera

While running P is a beast. It has a nasty stun to it, tracks, has a lot of range, and the recovery is faster than her other attacks.

    Lisa combo's

What about when the big clown punches them? When against fatties. If you can get a good launch (33p) when your back is against the wall you can 7k6 5 p+f. If you can land a while running p+k or 236p and get them to bounce of the wall you can go straight into 33p 7k6 5 p+f. In most cases...

    Slow escaping

Why wouldn't you want to slow escape? The more inputs the better. I just hold f and jiggle the stick, not really trying to hit any direction. Awesome how you can see how good your slow escape is in training mode.

What method of sidestepping is everyone using?

8/2p+k+f It's one button press away as opposed to having to go pop-pop.

In theory it does, they can strike out of it.

    The Carrera

This is getting quite a bit of talk now, let's get it in focus. First off Carrera is less of a stance and more of a short cut to get into running. All the follow up moves are her while running moves. It makes recovery faster and can be cancel by pressing any direction that's not 6 or by side...

    Dead or Alive 5 - Known Bugs/Glitches

Power blow charge indication is at frame 37 while the activation status is at 38.. Discovered this when it was match point for me and my opponent in the winners finals just this weekend, I had like 20% health, him about 40% I pulled a full critical burst off... There was no 2nd place guarantee...

    How to play Brad Wong.

Brad relies a lot on crushes and side step (from laying, 6p 8/2). His stance has their uses. DHO is good outside of close and mid distance. He can jab out of it but it's slower than his normal jab. It also allows him to have a set up to an OH. kk4 and 3k4 enter DHO BT provides a unique run in...

    Dead or Alive 5 - Known Bugs/Glitches

Playing 4 player tag offline, mid game all my input stopped registering. I could still pause/un-pause the game, changing controllers/stick didn't work either.
