I'm pretty good at it offline, but when I transfer to online, the timing is off. More work needed on my part. I'll give that other juggle a try too. Thanks.
It wasn't a knock against you or your character.
Akira doesn't fit the all around mold either. He has shit range, stupid linear, and no offensive holds. He's also slower than Christie.

^ Her.
I can't think of an area her game is missing. Fast strikes, parries, advanced counters, offensive holds, safe strikes, plenty of crushes, step back and lunge attacks, and a few long range attacks.
Muscle memory. My problem on the :236::P: was that I wasn't completing the full quarter circle before hitting P. It was more like, :2::3::P:. My advice is when you're executing it, slow down your inputs to be very deliberate. You have more time than you think when performing the inputs.
Depends. His teleport attacks all leave him at different frame values depending on which one it is. When you say whiff, I assume you mean completely miss you due to strafing. :p+k: tends to be my favorite. At 20 frames though, it's hard to pull off.
DOA5 is for sure more lenient with the 1 frame execution. If you're using a controller, the best way to do it is to bind guard to X and kick to O. Then swipe your thumb across X and O like you're snapping your fingers or lighting a match. Don't stop on the O, run your thumb past it. If...
