Small movesets appeal to me as they are easy to optimize. While I plan on going back to using Kasumi which I haven't been doing since DOA3 I will definitely be giving Alpha a try.

In ranked matches if you disconnect it should count as a loss, plain and simple. No breaks, no "penalties" it should simply be a loss. If you were winning and something happened and caused you to disconnect, tough luck. And this is coming from someone who's had many a connection issue for years.

Aside from Offbeat Ninja I don't know of many Ein players in the offline scene but he was pretty popular online and has been an overall solid and even fairly popular choice throughout the DOA series (sans DOA3). That's one of the reasons I was so surprised at his absence, for story purposes...

That clown palette swap was just lazy. Pure lazy, it's clear that the game was rushed to some degree. Come on Zack doesn't even have his alien costume. I don't like Zack mind you but it's pretty iconic to him at this point.

Still hype. It overflowed and I spoiled a little of the story among a few other things. But it's still there and these last few days are still hard.

In the end you'll have to get the game in your own hands an see what it's like for you. But if the general consensus is that the online is bad, hopefully something is done regardless. I've struggled with some of the worst online imaginable. I would really like if I didn't have to struggle...

Hopefully the netcode will be patched early on or it will simply improve somehow around the 25th.

It'll have to be, early birds or no I don't see anyone figuring it out before then. And it doesn't help if someone unlocks her by mistake.

It's nice that we got to see her ingame, but the real excitement will be to see her in the hands of someone that knows what they're doing. And moreso, has anyone even unlocked her yet? Or better yet, know the requirements to unlock her? It really should have just been by finishing story mode.

Who would he use?

I used to have somewhat of a tier mentality and the desire to use low tier characters simply because of the annoyance of the frequency of high/top tier character usage and what some (scrubs would) call "cheap" tactics. But eventually I grew out of that and simply became a player that did my best...

He's just being pessimistic.
