Well, it's not really TN's fault (directly) that there are no surprises left. So, I wouldn't get your hopes up TOO high. And the character select screen still kind of has room on the sides. At least enough room to make it 12 and 12. But, then I guess the random would be in the third row...

I dunno. The advent of custom soundtracks in general always kind of irked me. I know it kind of sucks if the soundtrack isn't all that. But, I think that it's supposed to go with the general ambience of the game. I mean, why have games create music at all if people are just going to play pop...

Well, if someone wanted the cliff's notes version, wouldn't that be helped by people keeping up with and maintaining the wiki section regarding the characters? Or perhaps have a site admin creating a DOA5 character guide section?

The music is stage-based, although it borrows a few tracks from DOA4. Sometimes, the music will switch depending on what's going on. For instance, the music in "Home" changes if you switch floors and in "Depth" if you break the elevator. I definitely don't think it's as memorable as before...

While that is very true, it does seem odd that you would get achievements for unlocking Akira and Sarah with no mention of Pai. Unless Pai is already unlocked to begin with, which would make very little sense as they been letting everybody use Akira and Sarah in builds up until now. And then...

You could see Taki's nipples in Soul Edge. They had that going from the start. lol I think for DOA to get rid of the PPPPP strings, DOA's gonna need another punch button. I think they have a decent system going by adding directions to get different results. I suppose they could do that...

They are linked within his post. Look in the lettering. "Minimalist" and "classy (as you so call it)" isn't for everyone. Mine were a lot more subdued until I got the suggestion that they needed more color. The color is used to separate the characters apart. Otherwise, it just looks samey...

I suppose you're free to think that. But, I would say that the ones you posted are little more than the character art over the city background. I tried to incorporate the color scheme and designs used on the main site, which do have a gritty appearance that may not be to everyone's liking...
